BLEW US AWAY
Flawless stay. Truly magical place with the utmost top notch hospitality. Everyone really enjoys being there and especially Siriak and Kabalabala were just remarkable as if they're inviting you to their home. The room was spacious, the grounds were charming and extremely private. Hours would go by without ever seeing anyone sometimes. Oh and the food was superb. Don't let the "all inclusive" tag fool you into thinking this is a Mexico or Euro all inclusive experience with mediocre food....Some of the dishes could easily be served at a Michelin restaurant, yet felt like a home cooked meal at the same time. Highly Highly recommend.

Palms Zanzibar - Highly Recommend
This was an all inclusive Awesome Beautiful small resort. Accommodations were Amazing, each couple had their own Hut House with their own private cabana. The inside house was big, beautiful and clean! I would need a full page to describe the beautiful inside! Each unit had their own private outside dip pool. The gardens were beautiful with swimming pool and outdoor bar. The beach was clean and well maintained. Loved the security guards at each end of the beach. The bar tenders were amazing bringing us snacks & fruit drinks without asking. Bartenders made great drinks & were always kind, friendly smiles. I did get one bartender’s name Kibalabala, the other left before I got his name! The entire staff was very kind, courteous. The manager was Exceptional - making sure all our needs were met! We cannot say enough about how Great this Manager was to our group. We enjoyed the use of the gym at your sister resort from India (beautiful). We would love to someday come back to this beautiful paradise. Loved the small atmosphere of not many people which made our stay much personal with manager and staff. Highly, highly recommended.

An exclusive trip to Heaven on Earth
WWe have travelled extensively and this location was the closest to perfection we have ever experienced. Only six luxurious bungalows, excellent food, staff and facilities and a warm sea. All that and a manager who constantly checked our well-being at every opportunity. Brilliant!

Incredible All-Inclusive Beach Experience
We absolutely loved our stay at the Palms! We spent five nights at the Palms during our honeymoon to rest and relax after a week long Serengeti safari. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay - the manager Siriak and the entire team struck the perfect balance of attention and privacy. The property is really lovely with huge luxury villas and great private beach cabanas for all guests. We loved the peaceful romantic setting with just seven villas on site, while still having access to the amenities of the sister properties next door. And the food and drinks were delicious throughout our stay, with amazing fresh fruits, a variety of delicious seafood forward dishes and tasty deserts. We particularly loved the sundowner cocktails and appetizers brought to us each evening and the fresh lobster chef William prepared right in front of us.

My stay at The Palms was a splurge that far exceeded my expectations and was worth every penny spent
I was so torn about which hotel/resort to select for my 4-nights stay in Zanzibar, there we so many to choose from. Traveling solo, I took a chance on The Palms. I have never been more pleased. It's an intimate seating and the villas feel like "home". A luxury experience, with the traditional African decor and feel. The villas are huge. I visited at the start of the rainy season and the resort was only 35% occupied. But I loved the personalized attention, and the kindness of the staff is unlike anything I've ever experience. The food was as good (or better) than any restaurant there. I could go on and on, but I'll summarize by saying... whether a couple or single, you will NOT be disappointed if you chose to stay at The Palms. p.s. Another plus was that I could visit any of the other hotels in the Zanzibar Hotel Collection. So I did a spa treatment at Baraza, had dinner with friends at Zawadi and shopped for gifts at the gift shop in Breezes. AN AMAZING STAY!!!

Nothing but amazing
The Palms was the most magical experience. From the moment we arrived everyone made us feel welcomed and looked after. It’s immaculately kept in a traditionally but stylish way. It’s very private and quiet as there are 7 villas only that each come with their own beach cabana. People are amazing with an eye for detail and attention. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. You can walk to their sister properties for water sport activities or spa. During low tide it’s great fun doing a bike ride on the beach, walk out to the reef or just relax at the swimming pool. A truly magical oasis and especially the people who work there are truly passionate about making your holiday - in our case honeymoon - unforgettable.

Perfect Honeymoon Destination
We came to The Palms for its intimate environment and private accommodations for our honeymoon, and in both departments, this luxury resort did not disappoint. What impressed and surprised us most was the warmth of its staff and the superb quality of care we received, not to mention the delicious food (and sundowners!) we were provided all-inclusive.
The live music from local musicians each night was also a pleasant surprise; in fact, there was a bit of a surprise each day we were there; from NYE celebrations at nearby Baraza, a traditional taraab performance on New Year’s Day, seafood barbecue, lunch on the beach, etc. It was evident from day one that efforts were made to go above and beyond for its guests. They even take the beaches at low-tide! Simply outstanding.
As a guest of The Palms, you also receive access to Baraza’s world-class Frangipani Spa – where I recommend indulging in the “Sultan’s Bath” – as well as Breezes’ Water Sports, which offers a stunning and approachable snorkel safari (in addition to Nat Geo certified diving excursions).
In short: The Palms is a five-star oceanside hotel for couples that want peace and quiet and relaxation without too many bells and whistles. But if you look, you can find those too. This is the best choice.

Perfect Honeymoon
We have just returned from a week at the Palms for our honeymoon and I can comfortably say this is the best hotel on a beach I have ever stayed in. Every detail from the staff to the rooms to the food are perfect.
TIt is an intimate resort with only 7 villas and as such it feels wonderfully private. However there is access next-door to Barazza resort which has a full spa, good gym and watersports so you don't have to miss out on big hotel amenities.
The food is brilliant, we have never had so much variety in one week and everything was full of flavour. We will miss being sought out near the pool or in our private cabana on the beach with an inpromptu cocktail and the menu for lunch or dinner.
In short this hote is perfect and we cannot wait to come back

Amazing, extraordinary - everything that deserves the word paradise

This really small hotel embedded in Palm trees offers everything for a romantic couple stay you want to have.
We had even gotten a villa with a small private pool and a view out to the ocean.
The service is amazing, they literally keep no wish open. Food and drinks are exceptional and the sundowner snacks and cocktails really where the cherry on top.
Friendly people wherever you go, and also the massages and the spa in the sister hotel next to the palms have been an amazing experience. One of the best massages I had ever.
We will keep this hotel always as our little paradise in our hearts.

The Palms is the perfect couples destination in Zanzibar.
Fantastic accommodations, food and service. Siriac, the manager greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome and everyone on his team followed his lead. The private plunge pool is the perfect ace to stargaze. The beach was the perfect spot for all the activities they offer as well as a place to walk the low tide pools filled with starfish and other sea creatures. Dinner was a special and each evening offered a special experience for us. This might be the perfect spot to renew our wedding vows.

Go go go! You will fall in love and want to go back over and over again.
Service, rooms, resort and food and drinks were all 5 out of 5! Would recommend to anyone. They also have nearby resorts which are equally fabulous - Baraza, Breezes and Zawadi. You get to move around and visit all 4 resorts when you stay at the Palms which is great for exploring more around the area! Again - go go go!
